    Difference between Java and JavaScript are as follows
    1. Java is an object oriented programming language but JavaScript is a scripting language.
    2. Java is an OOP programming language while Java Script is an OOP scripting language.
    3. Java code needs to be compiled while JavaScript code are all in text.
    4. Java is developed by Sun Microsystems while JavaScript is introduced by Netscape.

    Java and JavaScript might seem like one was a direct descendant of the other, but in reality they are far from that. Java is an object oriented programming language that is capable of running on multiple operating systems with the use of an interpreter.
